  • About Seth Lowe

  • Seth was born a Queenslander, the son of a Chef that worked a late night caberet, and grew up under the feet of many of the players in the Australian Entertainment Industry. At the age of 12, his first guitar was in hand and it was not long before it was his daily ritual to have a strum. Although Seth was quite shy of performance, he kept up the regime of daily practice for the entire of his schooling and into his late teens, when other influences took over and the six string took the back seat..! It would be 10 years before music came back to the forefront of his daily life. At age 29, Seth quit his job and put a successful career in the Hospitality Industry to pursue a musical journey... Busking on the streets of Perth, Northbridge & Fremantle became his daily bread for almost 2 years, and not only kept him in the money, but also started him writing his own songs to perform, until a move to Melbourne in '99. In 2000, his 1st professional solo gig came and went and since then Seth has had over 1600 performances, ranging from solo accoustic shows, cover duo's and trios (blues, jazz & contemporary) and up to a 7 piece House Band... Throughout this time, Seth has had many opportunites to work and play alongside many great talents and in some of the funkiest venues across the country..and has made a large chunk of his living from musical pursuits. Taking influences from a variety of Australian & International performers - the list too long & extensive to write. Such a large scope has lent quite a diversity to Seth's music. With a big voice, accoustic and slide guitars and a stomp box in tow, Seth lowe is here to stay and entertain...Come and have a listen. The Journey Has Just Begun...
