  • Hello, I'm a 19 year old drummer. I've been playing for 6 years. I'm looking to get together with a singer/ guitarist songwriter who has their own material already or is in the process of writing. I would prefer this to be just a duo, (that is a Singer/guitarist and me on drums). This is for professional, serious musicians only. I am serious about my music so this would not just be a "jam", I would like to take it seriously. The music industry today is probably harder than ever to crack, however with the right frame of mind and amount of effort anything is possible. My expectations are to gig around sydney in pubs etc as a start. We would play mostly covers, but also as we get to know eachother's technique and style, we will experiment with our own material. Honestly, I don't mind what your into style wise, as long as we have chemistry while playing. The only way to see if that exists is to play together. However at the moment I am looking for a more punk/rock sort of style. I have a pearl export kit aswell as a roland electric kit. I own recording gear and have a big rehearsal space to rehearse in if needed. I love all styles of music and have the ability to learn songs quickly, pick up grooves aswell as be creative on the spot.
