  • My name is Benji Lewis and i am 19 years old now, I have been working on my career as a singer more in the recent years, i have been singing since i was young, but now i am really focused and motivated to make it.     So my dream has always been to make it, to be a famous singer & now i am more focused and motivated than ever to do what it takes to make it. I know it's not an easy road, but i also know that it is going to be worth it, i believe that. When i sing, i guess i always sing straight from my heart and soul, i want to make the people who are listening feel something, something deep, that makes them stop, even if only for the time of the song and just feel through the music.
  • Influences
    My main influences would have to be two of the greatest musicians out there, Jeff Buckley and Justin Nozuka, just how they sing with such raw emotion, that's what I'm going for, to make people feel something on a deeper level, it's amazing. Michael Buble' has had an influence on my voice as well, that's where i found the power behind my vocals. Other than music influences i have had the influences of my family, friends and also some really awesome teachers. My mum and dad were singers when they were young and i believe i got my passion for music through them and i've grown up with music around me because of them. My sisters have always believed in me and have told me to follow my dream, my teachers at school did this as well. Especially my music teacher, Mrs Arney.

    I have a portable recording studio but i do prefer to go into the studio to record, so much more worth it, I own a mic and am looking at buying a PA system.

    I am available during the week during the day and if and when gigs come up i can take off those nights at work.
