  • Anne Robertson was born on the 7th March 1983. Growing up in a household of 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers (Anne the middle child) music always played a big part growing up.

    Singing in Church with her family since the tender age of 4, growing up Anne was always involved with performances, from School, Family Events to Community Events was where it all started for Anne which she says lead her to the path of wanting to be a professional at what she loved to do most, Sing.

    Winning many Singing Competitions and Talent Quests, School Events . Anne always says that she has a god given gift, singing even before she could speak, singing is just her life and if an opportunity arose no matter where it was, Anne would be there.

    Well known within her community as a triple threat - Singer, Songwriter & Dancer, when Anne made her national appearance on the Third Series of Channel Tens - Australian Idol beating over 35,000 people nationally who auditioned and capturing the nation with her rendition of Diana Ross's "Home". Anne was voted in by the nation as the first Top 13 Finalist for 2005 and fast became a household name. Not only capturing the nation with her beautiful voice, unforgettable stage presence and looks but a heart of gold to go with it all. Labeled as the series Sweetheart and heralded as one of the most promising performers and vocalist in the competition, even dubbed as a contender to take the title as the Australian Idol. One of the series shocking moments was Anne's departure from the competition which left her finishing in 6th place.
    Winning a dedicated legion of fans in both the viewers and judges, Anne was just born to perform and says she always will.

    Post Idol, Anne has performed all over Australia, NZ, Samoa and Singapore, Written and recorded with some of Australia's Finest Songwriters/Producers and occasionally performs and hits the live music circuit in Sydney and around Australia.

    "One of the strongest females vocally in the history of Australian Idol" as quoted by Judge and Australian Singing Icon Marcia Hines.

    Some of Anne's music influences include Beyonce, Tamia, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Jazmine Sullivan, Jewel, Motown, Brian Mcknight, Maxwell, Jeff Buckley.

    Anne is currently a member of the all girl group Sultry Sally, a pop girl group sponsored by the Australian potato chip brand Sultry Sally, who are out with the video to their new single 'Gypsy Woman', a cover of the Crystal Waters 2001 release.
