What music has inspired you?
among many, here are a few... Michael Jackson | Stevie Wonder | Coldplay | The Killers | U2 | The Beatles | Phil Collins | Billie Joel | Elton John | Queen | Fleetwood Mac | INXS | The Police | Peter Gabriel | Paul Simon | Pet Shop Boys | Human League | Spandau Ballet | Tears for Fears | Split Enz | The Buggles | A-ha | Bob Dylan | Eskimo Joe | The Presets | MGMT | Empire of the Sun
-
Use three words to sum yourself up?
cooperative, spontaneous, laidback
-
What music are you listening to at the moment?
peter gabriel, empire of the sun, michael jackson, beatles
-
If you had a choice to play one song, what would it be, and why?
I Want You Back by The Jacksons. It has to be one of my all-time favourite songs. Anybody listening to it would automatically be in a good mood.
-
Where will you be in five years from now?
Hopefully recording an album if I get noticed by a record label.
-
What venue would you most like to play at?
It sounds strange, but I always wanted to appear on the Letterman Show :) ... but in Sydney, perhaps performing at the Acer Arena... but the big dream would have to be Wembley in the UK...
-
If you had a choice, who would be your support band?
I wouldn't let them support me, rather I'd insist on supporting them - Coldplay!
-
Have you ever played in a band before, and if so who?
Bands with mates both in and out of school, and the embarassing school choir
-
Three people you would invite to your gig and why?
Dad, because he's never heard me play. My best mates, because their my best mates. And Stevie Wonder, so he can come on stage and jam with me.
-
Any tips you would like to share with your fellow musos?
Write songs that people will want to sing. Songs they'll want to remember. Something thats dancable, relatable, and singable.
-
Do you live the Rock n Roll lifestyle?
nope...
