Interview with drummer44, 06.04.11

  1. What music has inspired you?

    All music. I grew up interested in various genres of music and have further grown in range. I used to listen to a lot of rock music from bands like blink182, rage against the machine, red hot chili peppers, ranging all the way to punk bands like dag nasty, H20, bad brains, the descendents, rancid.. i love metal bands like slayer, parkway drive, metallica and old bands like led zeppelin, the cure, the who joy division, misfits, the police all the way up to mainstream artists like kings of leon, sum41, foo fighters.. loads more. im strongly influenced by elctronica and dubstep music like soulwax, bassnectar, doctor p, flux pavillion, boys noize, excision, wolfgang gartner, rusko.. my newest and biggest passion is for hip hop. i love 99.9% of hip hop from oldschool 90's golden era like krsone, pete rock, onyx, tupac, wutang, black moon, smif n wessun... to new and mainstream artists like big sean, wiz khalifa, lil wayne, jayz, yelawolf, kanye west, busta rhymes. so many influences i have left out.

    loyal, emotional, hungry

  3. What music are you listening to at the moment?

    yelawolf - i wish a motherfucker would

  4. If you had a choice to play one song, what would it be, and why?

    so lonely - the police. fun to play on the drums and a mad song

  5. Where will you be in five years from now?

    hopefully making money.. and hopefully for playing drums.

  6. What venue would you most like to play at?

    hordern pavilion

  7. If you had a choice, who would be your support band?

    either blink182 or Odd Future

  8. Have you ever played in a band before, and if so who?

    have had jams with fellow musicians but never been in an official band

  9. Three people you would invite to your gig and why?

    family & friends

  10. Any tips you would like to share with your fellow musos?

    broaden your horizons to to more varieties of music and forget about what is mainstream and what isnt just listen to the music

  11. Do you live the Rock n Roll lifestyle?

    sometimes i do, but most days im totally relaxed
