What music has inspired you?
The Birthday Massacre is a band that has most definately inspired me since, it wasn't until I heard them was when I knew I wanted to sing. Like, it was something I had wanted for a while, but at the time, all I heard was the whole, Pop and Mellow music that the tv throws into your face constantly and It just didn't make me want to do anything. After The Birthday Massacre, I began hearing the good stuff of music related to goth and I fell in love.
-
Use three words to sum yourself up?
Friendly, Shy, Gloomy
-
What music are you listening to at the moment?
At the moment I'm listening to some more different sorts of music, like the band "Stolen Babies" which is an Avante-Garde band that really captures a sort of circus sound. Malice Mizer, the Japanese band that popularised the Gothic Lolita fashion is also a band I'm listening to.
-
If you had a choice to play one song, what would it be, and why?
Probably Video Kid by The Birthday Massacre because its such a cute song in spite the fact it sort of sounds like its about beating up people and putting them to the status of nerds or something. I don't know but its a good song. :D
-
Where will you be in five years from now?
Hopefully not at my parent's house. I will hopefully be either at University, in work or if a band has come my way, Its likely I'd be doing that perhaps. I suppose its hard to say.
-
What venue would you most like to play at?
Anywhere with friendly people that would hang out with us after the show since that just sounds like a warm environment. Fans and musicians hanging out like friends.
-
If you had a choice, who would be your support band?
I wouldn't have a clue on who that would be. Maybe Ayria, Lords of Acid or something, but then it sort of depends on who the crowd is going to cheer the most for.
-
Have you ever played in a band before, and if so who?
I have never played in a band before, hence why I signed on here.
-
Three people you would invite to your gig and why?
Probably my friends Blake, Haley and Hannah since they are the most insanely awesome people I will ever know. I'd let them tour with me. :)
-
Any tips you would like to share with your fellow musos?
Experiment with your voice and remember that you probably have a lot more to offer than what the mainstream media throws at you. If you find your comparing yourself to Rhianna, P!nk or any other pop musician, remember that vocals in a lot of songs (not just mainstream) are edited to give a much more crisp, clear sound.
-
Do you live the Rock n Roll lifestyle?
In a way, yes. Mostly through my clothing choices but yes indeed. :)
