Everyone I have heard who was totally uninfluenced by others was also CRAP. So listen to anything and everything. If you are playing what is popular here and now you are behind the times. Guitarists listen to sax players.Sax players learn from guitarists. Last thought! Practice makes perfect, but then nobody's perfect so that means.......?
-

Used to but it's bad for the health.
