Interview with Ghost, 19.05.10

1. What music has inspired you?

   Its hard to say but good metalcore has definietly influenced my taste in music. Such is the likes of IKTPQ, BMTH, TDWP, Parkway Drive, Emmure, As I Lay Dying, Whitechapel, Suicide Silence etc.

2. Use three words to sum yourself up?

   Relaxed, Motivated, Friendly

3. What music are you listening to at the moment?

   Lately its been more deathcore style stuff like Whitechapel for instance, though that hasn't pushed more hardcore music aside.

4. If you had a choice to play one song, what would it be, and why?

   Say Goodbye - IKTPQ. Probably cause it was one of the first songs I heard that really got me interested in metal, plus it is still an awesome song.

5. Where will you be in five years from now?

   If I could make it happen by writing this I'd say I'd be touring the planet in a band to see the world I'm from and to play shows to people who are just like myself.

6. What venue would you most like to play at?

   Soundwave at Sydney.

7. If you had a choice, who would be your support band?

   Alice Vs Everything. They're my mate's band.

8. Have you ever played in a band before, and if so who?

   No this'd be my first time though everyone starts somewhere.

9. Three people you would invite to your gig and why?

   Winston Mcall, he's an aspiration. And probably my parents. They didn't like the music I listened to but have come to enjoy it for the joy it brings me. I'd love for them to see what I achieved when it seemed pointless at one time.

10. Any tips you would like to share with your fellow musos?

    Enjoy it like you always have no matter what you listen to.

11. Do you live the Rock n Roll lifestyle?

    I like to party and to cause trouble but not to the point of waking up in my own spew and having 4 girls having my babies.
