About The MDC
Hailing from the oasis of WA we know as Perth, The MDC is a band with big aspirations & the sound to match… with what can only be described as an appetite for all things mayhem. Gimmick genre twists & current fashions or scenes are ditched in favor of top-quality tunes, and a live show that ensures the only thing more drained in the venue than the punters, is the bar. Rock n roll is in desperate need of a shake-up and The MDC is here to give it a crack and show musicians, fans, and critics alike how good rock n roll used to be when it was done right. A sound that has been described as 60’s and 70’s rock n roll, rhythm & blues style with a crunchy modern edge a la Nirvana right up to Australian contemporys such as Jebediah and Grinspoon, The MDC is hell bent on giving 169% to their performance & taking it to the masses.
