As well as creating music, Linus Lane is also a published cartoonist, and writes and creates videos as well. There are boxes of Linus' debut album, titled Turn Up Your Hearing Aid, sitting at home ready to be sold at gigs. The music is commercial in it's sound, and Linus is currently in the process of seeking radio play. The band are looking to break into the music industry in a big way, and are looking for musicians who are also interested in a career in music (i.e. they not looking for hobbyists). The goal is to put together a three piece comprising of: Linus on lead vocals and guitar, Eli on Bass and vocals, and a drummer. The music is influenced by 90s pop punk bands like Blink 182 and Green Day, but some of the songs are slower and fall into other genres, so there is variety there. What all the songs have in common is a commercial sound and catchy melodies and lyrics. Band members would need to be able to commit to a twice weekly rehearsal, and gigs once they start up. We understand that most musicians have day jobs etc, but the band are looking for people who would be willing to throw that in if the band took off. The band can provide a rehearsal space and gear (e.g. bass amp, drums etc) in the eastern suburbs if needed, but they are also open to other other rehearsal spaces. Linus has a van for lugging gear around to gigs and rehearsals.

To get songs played on the radio, make film clips that get shown on TV, make a mark on the Australian (even international) music scene, and to tour around the world, playing to crowds of screaming fans. Y'know, the usual.

    We are looking for a drummer who is passionate about pop punk, and can keep up with the fast songs, but who also has versatility,and can keep the beat for the slower songs too (like the ballads). The age bracket could be anywhere between 18 and 26. The drummer would need to be able to make a serious commitment to the band, make two rehearsals a week, and start gigging soon. They would need to be able to learn the songs off a CD, as well as in rehearsals.
