  • In Early 2009 whilst walking Fremantle’s flamboyant streets, Ozjam creator Chris ‘Crispy’ Wilks heard an encapsulating voice singing Sade’s “No Ordinary Love” it was the dynamic vocals of Tania Walker. Having learnt her first guitar chords at 12 from then fellow busker John Butler, had no.1 hits in the Pacific Islands and recently returned from a stint in New York performing at the world renowned Blue Note Cafe she was ready take her world class voice in a new direction! Working with Crispy, Tania set about auditioning musicians to form the exuberant act which is Demi-Monde, comprising of Dave Webb (drums), Mat Adams (bass), Billie Kiagoes (guitar). To date the band has performed at the much loved, eclectic live music venue Mojo’s and captivated the Freo crowds with exhilarating live shows.
