  • About Allostene

  • Allostene are a controversial, hard-rock act from the shit-suburbs south of Perth city. They believe very much in "If something's worth doing, it's worth over-doing." Since exploding onto the Perth, live-music scene in mid 2007, they have performed beside acts such as Streetlight, Elora Danan, The Amity Affliction (QLD), Anime Fire, Dyscord, Tame Impala, Sugar Army and countless other fabulous acts who, like Allostene, know good and proper how to wow an audience. Allostene emphasize the fundamentals of Rock and Roll and are never above performing live in their underwear. They've been thrown out of their own gigs, banned from venues, arrested (on more than one occasion) and wear many scars from fights, drunken stacks, tattoos and being set on fire. When they aren't partying to excess or working as Tradies, they're up late on weeknights jamming and writing music or fixing up the instruments they trashed at their last show, for the one they have coming up the following weekend. Their debut EP "High Road" is due for release in the coming months of 2009. 3 songs from it are now streaming on myspace.com/allostene. Once these bad-boys have found themselves a Lawyer (or a very tolerant Label) a Tour will be booked throughout the Eastern States. Until then, come down and instigate the damage they do around Perth & W.A.
